SUMMER SEASON -

June 14-15 :  Northern Arizona Barbecue Festival – The Williams Grand Canyon Chamber of Commerce presents this KCBS-sanctioned barbecue cook-off.  A beer garden featuring regional microbreweries, street dance and kids’ zone are all part of this event now in its fourth year.

Second Saturdays of the month :  Williams Second Saturday Art Walk is underway and runs throught October.  This year, a free Art Walk Shuttle Van will operate on a 15-minute loop to take visitors to each stop.  The shuttle will start at the town clock in the Visitor Parking Lot.

June 20-22 : Cowpunchers Reunion Rodeo – This is when the real working cowboys get together and put on a big rodeo for themselves!  An action packed event that is great fun to watch.  Rodeo performances begin at 1 p.m daily at the Williams Rodeo Grounds.  Dance Friday and Saturday.

July 4-7 :  Railhead Shooting Competition  -  The Arizona Cowboy Shooters Association brings this shooting competition to the Williams Shooting Range.  Vendors and an event banquet will take place at Wild West Junction.  Registration and event information is available at www.acsainc.com.

July 4th :  Small Town Fourth of July – One of the longest parades in northern Arizona starts at 11 a.m. along Route 66 in downtown Williams.  A community barbecue with games, live music and more will take place in the Williams Visitors Center parking lot.

July 19-21 :  ARCA Arizona State Convention and Hamfest – The Amateur Radio Council of Arizona’s State Convention will take place at the Williams Rodeo Grounds.  Gates open at 2 p.m.  More information is available at www.arca-az.org/arca

August 9-11 :  16th Annual Cool Country CruiseIn – Route 66 classic car show and pageant featuring local youth.  Organizers will award trophies for various classes of vehicles.

August 31-September 2 :  Williams Labor Day Weekend – Rodeo returns to Williams Labor Day Weekend when Slash M Rodeo Co. presents the Williams Labor Day Rodeo at the Williams Rodeo Grounds Saturday and Sunday at 2p.m.   Junior Rodeo Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.  Women PRCA on Moday at 1 p.m.  Gates open at 11 a.m.

September 21 :  Taste of Williams – Put on at Bearizona.  Taste of Williams showcases local restaurants, artists, and wine distributors.  Live entertainment, great food, fun and atmosphere are planned for this feast for the eyes, ears and taste buds.
